4th Grade Visited by Mountain Man Scott Sorensen

Mountain Man, Scott Sorensen, visits with our 4th grade classes each year dressed in home sewn buckskins. He presents Mountain Men and the History of the Fur Trade.  He tells of legendary men such as Jim Bridger, Kit Carson, and Jedidiah Smith.  He includes trapping, tanning, muzzleloading, and the art of telling tall tales.

Red and White Ribbon Week

RED AND WHITE RIBBON WEEK!! January 23-27, 2017.

We want to teach our students how to make healthy choices for their mind and for their body.  We will teach them to protect themselves from things that are addictive.....drugs and online behaviors.

Monday- Team Up to Keep Our Minds and Bodies Healthy...Team Day-wear your favorite team gear or your school shirt!

Tuesday- Give Drugs and Bad Media the Boot....Western day- wear jeans, cowboy boots, bandanas....!

1.  She went kayaking with alligators.

2.  She waited in line for one hour to buy one cookie in New York City.

3.  She has 3 nephews that all go to our school.

1.  She still has a baby tooth that has never fallen out.

2.  She has been to Australia twice.

A few fun facts about our secretary Mrs. Gordon

1.  She lives in Spanish Fork with her 3 sons and her husband.  She has lived in Utah her entire life.

2.  She loves chocolate with carmel and loves cinnamon bears covered in chocolate.

3.  She loves to travel.  She has been France, austria, Slovakia and Czechoslovakia.  She wants to go to Hawaii.

A few fun facts about Mr. Curtis our 3rd Grade Teacher

1.  He loves to shop at the D.I. as well as other thrift stores.

2.  If he could only eat one food for the rest of his life, it would be Greek yogurt!

3.  He can swallow a spoon and not gag.

Gratitude - November Student's of the Week

Our theme this year is "Choose to make a Difference," and this term we are focusing on "Gratitude." Each week during this month our teachers have picked out a student in their class that they see showing gratitude here at school.  Make sure to look at all of the pictures for the month of November, showing all of our students of the week showing gratitude.
