Our first graders had the chance to celebrate Arbor Day with Mapleton City. They learned the meaning of Arbor Day and the importance of trees. They then put their green thumbs to the test and helped plant a tree in the park.

Each of these students were selected by their teacher as Students of the Month for April. By working hard, respecting others, and being kind, they have been great examples of what Mapleton Mountaineers strive to be. Great job!

Congratulations to all of our 4th and 5th graders that were invited to compete in the Nebo District Keyboarding Championship. Our very own Marc Bastian took 2nd place! Way to go!

Mapleton Elementary was well represented at the BYU Invention Convention. We had there Mapleton Mountaineers compete: Lucy Wright and Scout Chase (not pictured) who won 2nd place overall with their project, and Caleb Woolford, who won 3rd place overall. Congratulations!!!
