5th Grade Wax Museum

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

It is always great to see our 5th Grade students in the Wax Museum. Mapleton Staff and students were treated to many different people from history.  Students choose someone they are interested in and then study about their life, write a short sketch which they memorize to tell others about their character. Thanks to all the teachers and students for their effort and fine performance.
Pictured here are many of our 5th grade students, including a picture #1 of Jacie Peterson and her twins sisters Sienna and Oaklie who are students in 1st grade.

Kindy 500

Kindergarten students paraded the halls of Mapleton Elementary while all other students lined up to see students in their very clever forms of transportation which included cars, trucks, planes and other vehicles.  Students were told about their country by great volunteers and enjoyed activities throughout the day. Pictured here are the parading students and volunteers telling them about America.

At the end of a Day

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

Have you ever wondered what your teachers do after a hard day at school?  Why they work on their team building skills!
How do they do that?  Play dodge ball of course . . . choose up teams, set up the course, blow the whistle!  And it wouldn't be any fun without an audience, cheering squad and some treats to top it off!  And yes, a wonderful time was had by all. So wonderful in fact it will be repeated once again this week!  Being a teacher can be fun too!  How do you unwind at your school?
