Reading Assembly

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

Mapleton Elementary was one of the first schools in the state to reach 1 millions minutes of reading recorded with Road to Success.  The students received an assembly with a magician as a reward for all of the reading they have done and recorded.  Keep up the good work students!!

During planning time last week,  students were able to create their own hearts inspired by Piet Mondriaan, a Dutch artist who worked in the US during the late 1930's and early 1940's. Thanks Mrs. Cluff for expanding students' knowledge about famous artists throughout the world.

Helpful - Student's of the Week

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

Our theme this year is "Choose to make a Difference," and this term we are focusing on being "Helpful." Each week during the month our teachers have picked out a student in their class that they see being helpful here at school.  Make sure to look at all of the pictures for the month of December and January, showing all of our students of the week being helpful.
