Reminder of First Term Reward Activity Monday

We will have our first term reward activity on Monday, Nov. 24th. This is for all students who received one or less citations during first term. We will be traveling to WaterGardens Cinema to watch a movie as a school. Please be sure that students arrive on time Monday morning since buses will leave right at the beginning of school. We are looking forward to this event!

These students receive a certificate and prize from Mrs. Peery with the chance to be drawn out at the end of each month for "Pizza with the Principal." The focus for the month of November is "Positive Attitude."  The students are selected based upon the attitude they show to their teachers, peers and faculty at the school. The 2nd graders at Mapleton Elementary prepared a program for Veteran's Day.  Boy Scouts that attend our school presented the colors, and then the 2nd Graders along with the school sang the National Anthem and then recited the Pledge of Allegiance.  The 2nd graders then sang the many patriotic songs that they prepared for the whole school.  Thank You 2nd Graders!!!
