On October 7th, the Living Planet Aquarium presented to each of the fourth grade classes. Students learned all about the water cycle through hands-on experience with an interactive diagram, singing and dancing to a water cycle song, and by participating in a condensation experiment. Students also had the privilege of seeing a tiger salamander, a garter snake, a red-spotted toad, and a king snake. Students learned about specific animal adaptations of the reptiles and amphibians they saw and the parts of the water cycle the animals like best. All fourth graders had a blast at our 'in-house' field trip! We'd like to thank the Living Planet Aquarium for a fun and learning-filled presentation!
