Dancing Across Utah

 

Dancing Across UtahOctober 24, 20145-8 pm.Mapleton Elementary and U of UContact Carol Day Dancing Across Utah is an event presented by "dance and the Child International" daCi-Utah.  It will happen simultaneously at Mapleton Elementary and U of U.Participants will learn multicultural dances and share them across the state through video thanks to the help of UEN.At Mapleton Elementary participants will learn Polynesian Dance , Native American Dance, creative and folk dance.  At U of U  participants will learn African, Cuban, creative and the same folk dance.      The dances will be shared on screens at the end of the evening .  The last dance will be the folk dance, danced together at the two venues.        daCi's purpose is to bring people together through dance.  The event is designed for families to dance together.         Come dance with us October 24 5-8.  The cost is $15 per family or $5 for an individual.  register at http://www.daciusa.org/dayofdance/Utah
