These students receive a certificate and prize from Mrs. Peery with the chance to be drawn out at the end of each month for "Pizza with the Principal." The focus for the month of March is "Problem Solving".  The students are selected by their teachers as they show problem solving skills at school.  Here are the Students of the Week for March 23-27.

The Kindergarteners at Mapleton Elementary celebrated the Kindy 500 on Thursday, March 26.  They started off the day with a parade around the school driving their newly made kindy cars, etc.  Then they had the opportunity to break into small groups to travel around America and learn about our Country.  They were able to visit Mt. Rushmore, The White House, Lincoln Memorial, and the Statue of Liberty to name a few.
