Ballet West

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

Ballet West came to Mapleton Elementary to perform for the students, and to teach them about the hard work that is needed and the good health habits that they need to be able to perform.  They performed dances from the Nutcracker, and also had students come up on stage to try to do the leaps and turns.

Dental Health Presentation

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

The Utah County Association of Dental Wives  presented a special assembly on dental health to Mapleton Elementary School First and Second Grade Classes.

Using puppets, they performed a great presentation on the why’s and how’s of caring for your teeth.  The students enjoyed the play with cute dinosaur puppets, and the professor teaching them the importance of brushing, flossing and eating good healthy food to keep their teeth clean and breath fresh.  We appreciate their time and effort in performing and teaching our students.
