Our very own, Miss Blaisdell made it in the Daily Herald News.  She is a one and a million teacher. We are so happy to call her ours. You can read the article below: 

Emily Blaisdell, a fourth grade teacher at Mapleton Elementary, has been nominated as this week’s Educator of the Week.

Emily’s alma mater is Brigham Young University. She loves all things BYU, especially their sports! She holds a season pass for BYU football and can tell you the stats and other info about the players.

Liv McClellan, a student at Mapleton Elementary, is an excellent example of what it means to be a Mapleton Mountaineer. She is safe, respectful and responsible. Liv has worked tenaciously this year to courageously meet personal goals. She has a quiet, calming presence.

Parents! Its crazy to think it's almost time for Track &  Field.  Here are the dates for you to mark your calendars, and see your kiddos run their hearts out. 

5th Grade ~ April 27th

6th Grade ~ April 28th

4th Grade ~ May 5th

3rd Grade ~ May 6th 

Rain out dates ~ May 7th & May 12th 

Parents!  Our makeup day for the day the District cancelled school, will be on March 20th.  This will be an early out day, since school was cancelled on an early out day. School will end at 2:30

Individual Class Spelling Bee's will be February 18-19 .  The top 3 out of each class, grades 3-6, will do the final Spelling Bee on February 21st.

Lists have been sent home with your kiddos, and if they go missing we have extra in the office.
