The Kindergarten students in Mrs. Bennett's class watched the process of a caterpillar change to a butterfly, and then they set the butterfly free outside our school.

Johnny Appleseed came to visit second grade!

Today is Character Day at Mapleton Elementary, in support of our read-a-thon that is going on all week.  The teachers dressed up as characters of different books to encourage their students to read.  Thank you teachers and PTA for working together, and for all that you do for the students!!

4th graders wore themselves out on their field trip Thursday.  They had an amazing time at the Hutchings Museum where they learned about Utah History, Native Americans, Rocks and Minerals, Fossils, and enjoyed a live bird show.  Then they went to Discovery Park in Pleasant Grove to eat lunch and play on the playground.  It was educational and a lot of FUN!!!
