The Kindergarteners at Mapleton Elementary celebrated the Kindy 500 on Thursday, March 26.  They started off the day with a parade around the school driving their newly made kindy cars, etc.  Then they had the opportunity to break into small groups to travel around America and learn about our Country.  They were able to visit Mt. Rushmore, The White House, Lincoln Memorial, and the Statue of Liberty to name a few.  Thank you to all of the parents of our Kindergarteners that helped their child make their kindy car, and also to all of the volunteers that helped to make this day possible.  Also,  a big Thank You to our teachers Mrs. Murdock and Miss Anderson for all of their patience and love in helping our kindergarteners have a great first experience in learning.
