The time is here, and we are so excited to see all the kids back to school. Please remember our Open House is TODAY, from 2:30-4:30.  Come get school shirts, meet teachers, and meet our amazing PTA. 

We have two open spots on our School Community Council for the 2019-2021 term. The SCC consists of myself, parents and teachers. We meet monthly and as a council address issues such as the School Improvement Plan, Trustlands planning, character education, digital citizenship in the school, building needs and school access routes, etc. Participating voices on the council truly do make a difference in our school direction and goals. Parents will elect the two parent representatives and the election will run from August 20th - 30th.

School is about to get back into full swing. We are super excited to see everyone again this year.

We currently have a Planning Time Technician position available at Mapleton Elementary. The job is posted as a "music, movement and/or creativity" teacher but could also incorporate mindfulness activities allowing students to learn about relaxation, calming techniques, and managing stress. This technician would work with students in grades K-6, thirty minutes a day  per class, four days a week for 17 hours per week. The online registration window is now open.  Nebo parents need to complete registration for every student in their household each year. Click on the "Registration" tab to the left and follow the directions from there. There are also directions on the Nebo website. 

If assistance is needed to complete registration online, walk-in registration will be July 31st from 8:00 - 4:00. 

Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will take place online and opens July 25th (see link below). If you have a returning student, everything you need to do to register your child can be done online. If you have a new student to Mapleton Elementary, in addition to the online portion, you will need to bring in a copy of your child's a) birth certificate, b) updated immunization record, and c) two copies of proof of residency.

Our school office hours this summer are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 - 1:00 pm.  Feel free to drop by or call during those hours with questions or if a new student to Mapleton, you are welcome to bring in copies of birth certificates, immunizations and proof of residency. Registration for fall will take place online starting on July 25th (more information coming soon). 

School will let out at 12:00 on Friday!!

Please have your kiddos check the lost and found. We have an abundance of hoodies, jackets, and other items that we would love to get back to their owners. Please come and check it out.  Anything remaining will be donated to those in need.  Thanks so much!!

It has been such an incredible year with this class. They will be very missed. We hope the Summer is fantastic and look forward to seeng them next year as BIG 1st Graders!!
