THANK YOU so much for all of your donations for the Day of Caring. January 25 th was the 10 th annual, school wide, Day of Caring and was a huge success. We were able to donate 282 blankets to Primary Childrens Medical Center.
Children in every class were able to tie blankets. It was great to see them come in and see our wall of blankets grow.
Yesterday the whole sixth grade went to the Loveland Aquarium. We went to a lesson and learned about the ocean and how it impacts us, even in Utah. We also talked about ways to keep the ocean and our air clean. Then we went to some of the exhibits such as the sharks and the touch pools. One of the many exhibits we went to was the penguin exhibit. The penguins were fast swimmers and very cute. We learned all of the penguins names and some facts about them. After we had lunch we went to more exhibits to finish up and came back home.
