Kindergarten & The Community

Submitted by julie.knight on

All the Kindergartners from Mrs. Carpenters & Mrs. Barth's took post cards to the Post office. They have been studying things that go on in the community and sent out post cards for their activity. The mail is a Super important part of our community and we are thankful for all our postal workers and their hard work.

Mrs. Rawlings is our Kindergarten Tech, and we don't know what we would do without her.  She helps with reading, testing, recess, and so much more. She helps behind the scenes to make sure things run smoothly for them, and that our cute Kinders are all taken care of. We are SO very Grateful for her.

Mark your calendars and get your smiles ready for Picture Day!

Students who are doing REMOTE learning will come from 1:00-2:00pm. These are students who would normally be attending Mapleton Elementary. If you would not normally attend Mapleton Elementary you would have your pictures taken at your regular boundary school. You can call them and find out when their picture day would be.

The 4th Grade OlympicsStudents chose a country to represent at the Olympics. There were 19 countries with 4th grade representatives who participated in the events: jump rope, hula hoop, running, crab walk and wheelbarrow race. A medal ceremony was held where each first, second and third place contestant was awarded with a "tasty" gold, silver or bronze medal. The National Anthem of each winning country was played.
