Submitted by stacey.holmes on

First Grade students at Mapleton Elementary School have been waiting patiently for
puddles!  They worked very hard to complete their homework assignment which was to
follow the directions and make a paper boat. Students did a great job and were excited
to float their boats. Much to their disappointment their were no puddles for two weeks.
Then finally on Monday after the snow storm they arrived, small but great puddles.

Pictured here enjoying those puddles with their boats  are: Front row: Conner Grace,

Submitted by stacey.holmes on

Mapleton Elementary students in the First and Second grades celebrated the 100th day of school in style. Students brought a wonderful variety of 100's collections.  First grade students go on a grade level walk to see what everyone brought.  It is always amazing to see the different choices for items to collect. There are marbles, candies of all shapes and sizes, money, paper clips, bugs and stickers. Thanks to parents for helping their students.
