January 30th the students at Mapleton Elementary completed over 150 polar fleece blankets for Primary Children’s Medical Center. However, true to tradition, Mr. Groneman and Mrs. Sandberg, along with their classes, had the opportunity to tie two additional quilts from their “favorite” universities. In the end, their “true” colors showed!! Thank you Mr. Groneman and Mrs. Sandberg for continuing our great tradition of helping others, regardless of your “colors”.
