Mrs. Norma Jean McConnell is a night custodian at Mapleton Elementary. She enjoys family, family history, hiking, and serving others. Her favorite children's books are "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein and "Love you Forever" by robert Munsch. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 57 years and they have sixteen children, eight daughters and eight sons. They also have 42 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her favorite vacation is anywhere with her family, especially Disneyland. She would love to go on a Disney Cruise with all of her family. Why she enjoys working at the school is because she thinks Teachers are fantastic, and Children are kind, loving, awesome, and non-judgmental.
