Did you know?

September is National Attendance Awareness Month. Did you know that if a student misses one day of school every 2 weeks, that is 10% of learning time missed, or almost 4 weeks of school in a year?  "Chronic Absence" is defined as missing 10% or more of school for any reason -- excused, unexcused, etc. It is an indication that a student is academically at risk due to missing too much school starting in Kindergarten. (Utah State Office of Education).  We want to encourage you to have your children here at school unless there is an emergency or serious illness (as well as vomiting, fever, etc.). We love seeing them each and every day!
