"How Much is a Million"

Mrs. Peery helped the 4th grade kickoff their Place Value unit by reading the story, "How Much Is a Million."  Chairs were lined up in the front each representing a place ten times bigger than the next.  Mrs. Peery brought her chair which was the Millions place!

6th Grade Science

In science we were investing the forces acting on the water bottle for a successful flip. Students determined that it's most successful with about 1/4 a bottle of water. They know that gravity is acting on the water, but with only 1/4 of the bottle filled there is a force holding the water in the bottom of the bottle, making it more balanced for a land.
