Mapleton Elementary students in the First and Second grades celebrated the 100th day of school in style. Students brought a wonderful variety of 100's collections.  First grade students go on a grade level walk to see what everyone brought.  It is always amazing to see the different choices for items to collect. There are marbles, candies of all shapes and sizes, money, paper clips, bugs and stickers. Thanks to parents for helping their students.
Students counted to one hundred, made 100 signs and wrote down 100 words they could spell and rhyme. Some students even lined up 100 ants in the hallway.  Great job everyone.

Second Grade students, finished their writing assignments and enjoyed a day with snow activities and treats.

First grade students wore their 100 day glasses and posed in front of our big one hundred, with hands galore stapled to it and of course topped off with balloons.
